Over at Bleeding Cool Rich Johnston has scored a video showing off DC’s new initiative. For those who have not heard, DC will be relaunching their titles with new #1 issues, designed to be jumping on points. Many characters are starting from scratch, many have new costumes, and even some old WIldstorm characters are being brought into DC proper. The biggest difference may be that all the titles will be available day and date both in print as well as digitally. DC’s head honchos go over everything quite nicely here:

The life of a freelance comic book illustrator is very atypical compared with the rest of the jobs out there. Here writer/artist Dean Haspiel talks about what it’s like working in the comics industry.

Here are a couple of videos I found while meandering through the land of youtube yesterday. Moebius, better known to his friends as Jean Giraud, drawing. The first video is him drawing with ink and the second is a timelapse of sorts of him drawing using a cintiq tablet. Both are immensely watchable. Enjoy!

Want to watch an artist do their thing? Well here is Dean Haspiel showing off his skills inking a panel from his upcoming work, “The Last Mortician”.
